Quick Stereo question. SCLJA please help
Quick question on the install of my Alpine CDA-9807. I had a high end shop in Philly install my head unit, and about a week later the #12 fuse on my car (controls central locking vacuum pump) keeps blowing. What could the store have done to mess my car up? Could they have tapped into one of the vacuum pump's wires for something? One more question, I found a green and a red wire in my engine bay that were cut near the fuse box from a previous stereo install. Could that be for the factory alarm connection to the radio (which is now disabled) or not?

The wires that you found are for an old cell phone. When the fuse blows does it effect your radio? What else did they do?

Hi Scott:
Thanks for your reply. The car did have a cell phone at one point but not anymore. Where do these cell phone wires connect to? When the fuse blows it does not affect the radio, i simply believe it is connected to the stereo installation because all the stereo wires run near the vacuum pump for the locking system. The stereo shop installed a 4 channel amplifier in the trunk, a clarion srv303 subwoofer where the first aid kit is (fits great btw), 6 speakers (2 in the dash run off the head unit, 2 in the map pockets of the door run off the amp, 2 in the rear deck run off the amp, no fader switch). What do you think I should do? Thanks so much once again for your continued help.
