Can't find the Bose Amplifier in my W140
Hi Folks,
I have just bought a 1992 300SD (the rod bender). I've read that the amplifier in the in trunk, above the wheel well. Is this true ? Which side would this be on ? I have seen something on the right side above the wheel well with lots of fuses, which look like a fuse box to me. Also, I am thinking of putting a Car PC in the trunk. Is it true that the Bose amplifier can take digital (optical) input ? Thanks. Last edited by Californian; 02-02-2005 at 12:26 PM.

Mine is is in the trunk, on the left side, under the cover.
As far as the optic cable is concerned, I think that it won't work. Your car is a 92? Mine is a 97 and there is no optic in it that I can find. Cheers, Steve
