Benz Window sticker placement
 

Hi

My daughter got me the Benz sticker (Daimler - Benz product) that goes on the passenger side of the windscreen for my 1972 280sel. I have looked around the net and here to find pics of the sticker in someones window and have not found a good one. can someone tell me or better yet post a pic of their sticker is on their car. a shot from the pass side wide enough to give good reference would be great

This is where I put the sticker on my 240D. Sadly its gone now since I had to replace the windshield :(

I was wondering if there is a spot on the 280se or sel that the factory always placed them so if anyone has an a 280se or sel with the original window..where is your placed? its not that big of a deal but I want to put it where it should be if I can.

Lower right hand corner of windshield. Not precise with an exact placement, but generally more aligned with the windshield trim than you would expect with a similar sticker on a car produced in the U.S.

You can see where it is in my 300D. As far as I can tell this is the original windshield and the original sticker, based on wear and fading.

I'd bet that they were all within a general range of +/- 10 mm or so, depending upon the physical size and mindset of the poor bloke whose job it was to slap the sticker in every car that was on the line, all day, every day.
