glowplug conversion?
how do I convert the preglow sytem between the pencil type and filament type? I just put a 80 german import into my 81 td . Has anyone done this?

First, you might want to post this on the Diesel Forum, as there is a lot more traffic there and good answers will happen sooner. Yes this conversion has been done, believe there may be a thread size issue but not a real tough problem. You should use the search feature up near the top of the page, using such words as "glow plug", "pencil type" and "filament type".
