300E transmisson part help

I need help with identifying where this part below is placed on my 1993 300e 2.8. The transmission is a 722.433; I am finishing a refresh of the B3 reverse clutches and a new brake band servo spring retainer. I've had the transmission on the bench for 4 weeks due to rebuilding, waiting for parts, and a vacation. Forgot where the part goes, either on the B1 piston, or the B2 piston dog-bone pins. I have looked on EPC drawings as well as members pics and just do not see this part installed to refresh my memory.. Help....

This is part of the B2 piston assembly, sits behind snap ring.

Thanks, must of been left out when I put new Teflon rings on the piston.. I appreciate your help.
