I am planning on installing a bypass oil filter on my 1987 Mercedes Benz 190 Turbo Diesel and hope someone can tell me what thread specification I will need on the "T" fitting I plan to place in the block hole where the oil pressure sending unit is located. As I understand, by putting a "T" fitting in the hole where the sending unit is now located, I can then attach the sending unit to on leg of the "T" and a hose to the other leg which will carry the oil to the bypass filter. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Contact me at doernbergr@aol.com.
Thanks, Bob (Redwing) |
