Weather Report

I'm still at my parent's house in Mooresville NC, roughly 25 miles north of Charlotte on I-77. Got what looks to be 6 to 8 inches of snow between 4 AM and 8 AM. News says it's still snowing in Atlanta.

Just started again....very light. Better than the pretty picture outside if the family of seven deer tromping around outside.

We have about 4-6 inches, not much of a problem.

I understand, I was in a snow storm in DE a couple of years ago. About 4 inches pretty much shut down the whole place, I couldn't even find an open restaurant. Driving in ATL is bad enough in good weather.

Sloppy, slushy weather by day, and black ice by night. Yay.

No kidding. And now with the snow up in the mountains, instead of going back along I-40, I'll probably have to go thru Atlanta on I-85 or I-20 this weekend. Oh, joy.

They're forecasting 7-12 here for Tue. evening through Wed. I'll believe it when I see it. I much prefer plowing 4-6" to 8"+ so it won't disappoint me if they're wrong again.

This weekend was nice. 4" snow Saturday evening and 2.5" on Sunday. Two separate, billable snowfalls and I didn't even break out the snowblowers. The beer belly is marginally reduced after the shoveling.

Might have to do some work this time around, though.
