This is a rear axle center section that came out of a 2001 S430 with 72,000 miles. The pinion bearing was making noise and after taking it apart and learning of all the special tools needed to assemble it I decided to get a used one from a junk yard instead of trying to put this one back together. Only the one bearing and the damaged seals from taking it apart would be needed to put it back together. And if you only need one part, I can send just that to save shipping since the whole thing probably weighs over 80 pounds.
These are some fine precision machined parts and make great paperweights and doorstops.
