1992 400E - Parts or Restoration car

I've got to get the car out of my mechanic's bone yard.. Will consider any reasonable offers that exceed it's value as scrap metal :-(

Car was killed this weekend by a semi's pinion shaft. Ran over it and it severely damaged the transmission & exhaust. Too much for me to repair.. Would love to see a fellow Merc lover part her out and keep other W124's on the road. If you already have a donor, this is a great foundation for restoration. $750 - will need to arrange towing from my mechanic's shop in Duluth, GA

The Bad -
Transmission broken
Exhaust Y-pipe crushed
Sway bar bent
Oil pan dented
Car will start but back pressure is too great due to exhaust restriction. No gears at all


The Good -
Original body with ZERO damage.
Interior is above average and rip free - all 100% leather - not naugahyde vinyl.
Wheels are original in very good condition.
Tires fairly new in great condition.
Engine (other than the oil pan dent) has been maintained at the highest level - I have over 20 years of mntc and repair records
New AC - compressor, dryer, evap
New Water Pump
New Alternator
New Coils
Intake Manifold and Fuel Injectors rebuilt ~3 years ago - all vacuum hoses replaced
Recently serviced - oil change, Brake Fluid, Coolant, Spark Plugs, Dist Caps and Rotors
Brakes ~60% life remaining on pads and rotors
