What is a good inkjet WIFI printer?
I bought a Canon Maxify MB2320 ink jet printer from Bestbuy Dec 2016 and within 5 months with less than 40 pages printed, it tells me I am out of ink. I called Canon tech support and they told me that the printer must be plugged into AC power and left on 24/7. I told them that is not mentioned in the user's manual and refuse to leave it on continously. Anyway none of the steps they tried with me over the phone worked to get the printer to print so they sent me a replacement and I shipped my printer back to Canon.
The replacement printer is a different model, a Maxify MB2720 which looks identical to the old one. Anyway 8 months later, with less than 80 pages printed, it tells me I am out of ink again! Canon told me upfront that the replacement printer will only have a 30 day warranty. Basically I spent $100 to print around 100 pages! That's $1.00 a page! I am not going to buy cartridges for this piece of garbage and will buy another brand printer. Anyway, I need a WIFI printer that won't run out of ink prematurely. With Black Friday coming what is a good inkjet printer (not Canon) that is affordable and reliable with affordable replacement ink cartridges? I know this is the diesel discussion forum. I am posting this here because of sentiments of frequent posters of this forum, we are all friends and it is OK to post OT topics as long as it is not political.
