Plastic hose from Vacuum pump to Brake Booster
During a minor repair (84 300D) I managed to snap off the two nipples on the plastic hard line that connects the Vacuum Pump to Brake booster (Ever Project becomes a project...)
So now manual shutoff of car and other "fun" vacuum related issues. Three questions-what is that part called? Is the plastic line something that can be bought? Anyone have one off a old car I can buy...? |

I broke one of my Vacuum Line Nipples off the first time I changed Oil. All I did was lean a bit on the Vacuum Line.

Or I'd just save the metal ends replace with rubber vacuum / fuel line / vapor / power steering return hose used by most cars.

I'm pretty sure that 90's cars had steel ends but I don't know if the are the same thread as the 80's cars.
Also, I'd expect the threads to be some sort of Euro standard. Anyone want to have a look here and ID the fittings for future generations? http://www.discounthydraulichose.com/v/vspfiles/downloadables/thread_guide.pdf |

Appears prices have dropped. I recall $70 a few years ago when one broke off, so I epoxied a copper stub in there. Like post #5, it will never be hopeless since just a plumbing design. The check valves make it harder, but you can buy those alone, meant for vac boosters.
