617 vacuum pump rebuilt DIY

hi guys

I'm preparing for VP rebuilt but all the links with diy instructions
are dead....does someone has backup or new links?

617a VP new style...

What did the replcament parts cost and are you doing the Piston and the Lever that rides on the timer.

The Factory Manual has rebuild instructions and there is at least on thread someplace where they speak of replacing the Bearing on the Lever.

didnt purchase it yet,just preparing myself.. due my last brake job I have heard hissing noise from VP... obvious sign that vp needs attention...
