Great 1983 300SD parts at San Antonio Applewhite Pick and Pull
Sorry I couldn't post this sooner, I moved a month ago and didn't get internet until yesterday.
I could not afford to store Rommel in San Antonio, so off he went to the Applewhite Road Pick and Pull last Saturday. I had hoped to get into San Antonio at 8:00 AM and spend most of the day stripping the car until the wrecker showed up in the afternoon. The best laid plans of mice and men often fail. I got there at 8:30, the wrecker came at 8:35. I was hoping to take the injection pump, starter, alternator, and lots of other great pieces before it went. Instead, I sent off a solid rust-free body with all glass intact, an engine that starts first time every time and passes the the teapot test with flying colors, good lenses on three out of four light brackets, new Bilstein shocks on the front, some nice burled walnut interior pieces and a good brake system. On top of that, they got the keys to a working ingintion switch, a good radiator, hood emblem and four Bundts with decent tires. I sure wish he could have gone to member here for the minimal price I got. Oh, well. If you need parts for a 1981-1985 300SD, you know where to look.

How were the injectors? If they were newer I might go and grab those.
