Lower radiator hose not hot after coolant flush.
Hi, I drained my coolant and replaced the heater core. I filled with coolant today but I think there is an air pocket. The lower radiator hose is cold and the hoses going to the heater core are also cold and I have no heat. The temp. needle will not stop climbing. What do you recommend I do to get the air pocket out? Maybe let it cool off entirely and then give it some gas? If that is what you think the problem is...

Fill the engine thru the top radiator hose with the nose of the car pointed uphill. Then put the heater on full blast and let it idle for a while until all the air is burped.

I got one bubble out because the heater core started getting coolant. There is still more air in there though. I jacked up the front of the car and tried to start it. It puttered and would not start with the front jacked up. So I lowered it and tried to start it. It is still puttering and not turning over. Why wouldn't the car start now? Thanks

Is your primer pump leaking? With the scenario you describe, it definitely sounds like air in the fuel system.
