Before You Buy: What to look for...

I saw a great list some where here after a search for a completely unrelated subject. Of course, now I can't find it again. I'm sure this topic has been touched on, but my searches have been fruitless. I guess I'm searching for the wrong key words. Anyone wanna chime in or point me in the right direction?

When buying W123 D's what is a good check list to go through before buying?
