I put a Wheelskins cover on my old 124's wheel which had the Southern California syndrome (hard and rough with pieces flaking off). It worked really well. Putting it on is not hard, just tedious. Get the stitching VERY tight and even and it will look pretty much like it came that way. I like it a lot for the price. It's certainly easier than trying to find a newer junkyard used wheel in good shape, then hassling with the airbag to swap them.
