Gotta agree with PEH here. Best bet is new. I have an old 58 220s that kept eating exhaust systems from sitting during the winter. Broke down and had an SS system installed. It'll be there and quiet long after I'm dead. My state won't pass a bandaged muffler, I only do it as a stall tactic.
