add to that the fact they terminated the rear of the cage to the parcel shelf (also mentioned in the ad and not a structural member for those of you keeping score at home) so if you did manage ever to need the protection it suggests it would fold like a bad poker hand. bet that $100 worth of twine would give ya $200 headache

Did it never occur to them that the whole backseat (except maybe for the center-rear) is rendered useless by the "$100-dollars-worth-of-twine" cage? Also, i can't imagine that this thing is pleasant to drive with the springs cut to that extent (the seller says that the springs are cut).
