The prius owners really crack me up, since I am in the 'Couv there are a lot of folks here that want to be seen as more "progressive" than Portland, so they get peer pressured into it.
No one ever seems to mention where the rare earth metal come from in their "green" car, and that the only place in the US that used to mine them got shut down for ecological concerns. (According to the web - "A standard Prius has 22-33 pounds of Lanthanum in the battery and another 2.2 pounds of Neodymium in the electric motor.")
Ever seen the Doritos in the snack machine labelled "Smart Choices made Easy!"? Same phenomenon; label Cod as Crabmeat and watch it sell!
...But I digress.
I like the flatbed! If you can get some old ammo cans cheap they are nice to bolt under the bed sideways for chains/road tools/etc
P.S. Bonus Questions: Does Baby Jesus even need a jimmy? Does the rear-view mirror even work in a prius with that bar in the way? Do penguins need snowshoes?

Thank you!
There's just not much point in getting upset. Doesn't solve problems or move forward and it's not going to change the other person's opinion in the slightest. And in general, when dealing with crazies, LEAVING is usually the best bet.
I've got a few ammo cans around, and a padlock can be added to them fairly easily. I'll definitely be adding some under-bed storage.

Here come the questions - that could very have been answered earlier in the thread but seriously I've got a bad memory and the thread is just too damn long to search for the answers now!
When did you last change the valve stem seals?
How do the glow plugs look when they're removed?
Have you removed the exhaust manifold recently?
How much oil are you using?
(Do you see where I'm going with this? => was it just a drippy injector or was it something else...)

I wiped off some of the injectors before I realized I probably shouldn't do that before pictures. Some were dry, some were wet - as in nearly dripping. I have no clue if they got wet because they're faulty and were dripping, or if I dripped fuel down them while removing the pressure and return lines.
I have never replaced the valve stem seals - I have only put about 5k miles on the engine.
Going by memory, I do remember some GP's being wet when removed.
Exhaust manifold was off ~5k miles ago. I remember it being dry inside, with a good bit of soot but no serious carbon.
Oil use is very little, less than 1/4 quart in 5k miles, and I know I'm leaking a small amount.
