Had an odd exchange at the fuel pump this morning. I was waiting for the attendant to come over(we're too stupid to pump our own fuel in Oregon) and someone in a jacked up F350 dually with what looked to be nearly 40" tires yelled at me for parking in the diesel spot. Actually getting red in the face and using profanity and telling me to quit blocking the diesel pump so he could fill up. He didn't like my calm response that I was buying diesel, I got here first, he could wait his turn. Screamed that it was impossible, that Toyota didn't make diesels, I was wasting his time and going to ruin my truck at the same time. He kept making snide comments the whole time I was fueling. I was happy to get done and get out of there.
What the hell is wrong with people these days?

Man, when i think of oregon i always think of laid back, plaid, and the grunge movement. Youve had so many ridiculous pump run ins, theres definitely an undercurrent of rage filled diesel owners out there.
Most ive run into at the pump have been relatively curious or friendly, none so upset as that. A few semi drivers were miffed when ive been in a single pump line, but thats about it. They always calmed right dkwn when they realized the vehicle was diesel. Need to get mine running again
