Just a progress update:

Got two gallons of Delo 400 5w-40 synthetic sitting in the cab of the truck right now, going to change the oil and filter tomorrow.

Still need to get a block heater cord, unless someone has a spare sitting around they'd sell?

I also have a stock 300SD alternator for sale/trade.

And lastly, last mileage calculation was 21mpg, down from 24 when I first started driving it. Not sure what all is going on. As I get more faith in the conversion and learn to go ahead and rev this thing, I think my right foot has gotten heavier. My best buddy is a truck driver and says his mileage has taken a slight hit too, he thinks the fuel distributors have switched to winter fuel.
