You heard me. The ALDA doesn't want to come off. On my 84 IP it was a 2 minute procedure. My 85 isn't so compliant.

I've soaked the nut with Brake cleaner and followed that with PB-Blaster. I will continue the process in the hope that it finally makes a difference.

If I torque too hard am I in danger of breaking the "crown"/threaded portion of the pump where the ALDA bolts/screws on?
