Engine mount question
I have a 1982 euro 200 model with a 2.0 gasoline engine. It is a W123 chassis.
I cannot find replacement engine mounts anywhere for this model. All I see for my year '82 are W123 diesel parts. I can't imagine they're the same for 2 totally different engines but are they? If not any suggestions on where to get the correct ones? Thanks... |

The odds are very good that all the w123 mounts will physically interchange.
As delivered by Mother Benz different engines would have different rubber compounds chosen to suit the vibration characteristics of each engine. Those choices are long gone. |

My guess is also that any W123 mount will work but perhaps won't be identical as mentioned.

I picked these up off a german supply site...
123 241 08 13 left hand side. 123 241 27 13 Right hand side. One is 27 Euro and the other is 38 Euro. These are for the 115 engine. |

See if you can get a copy of EPC. You'll be able to enter vin and search for specific part #. It's helpful for Euro car owners living in the US where that model was not officially sold.
