1987 Mercedes 300D Turbo

New pics w/ New Wheels:









This is my 1987 300D Turbo. Florida car since new (now in Tennessee for 2 years). It has just over 287k miles and I can't wait to reach the 300k mark! My brother purchased this in June 1999 from the original owner (at 150k) and I acquired it in 2005 when he got a 1999 E300. We've done a few updates on it including the Bosch European Headlights and I just recently put on a pair of '94/'95 E-class tail lights. This did an amazing job of sharpening up the looks with the grey paint! I was very impressed. Next thing on the to-do list is refinish the rims.

EDIT: 3/18/11- I added some pictures of the new (used really) wheels I put on the car. They came off a '94 E320. It may not be noticable in the pics, but the rear also sits up higher (compared to the older photos). Right at 300K I put in all new rear suspension links- all I have left in the rear is shocks. Now it looks like the front is a little low- oh well.
