I have an 84 190E with the 2.3. I am having some sporadic oil pressure problems. I would like to swap out the oil pressure sender but dont see any reference to the location of the sender for my year car. The 85 and up with the spin on oil filter has the sender right there on the filter housing, but the 84 has a cartridge type filter and the sender somewhere else.
Where is the sender???? Pat Leber 84 190E 2.3 83,84,85.5 944 |

THere is no sender! I took a closer look, and there is an oil tube feed through the firewall (like my old Triumph TR6). I'll have to look under the dash to see if this goes right to the gauge or there is a sender to convert to elec to the gauge. We;ll see.
