turn signals all out after winds replacement

well... took the car to a mom and pop place to have the windshield replaced and... now my turn signals are not working.

fuse 11 has been replaced, and the horn (also on this fuse) works.

the highbeams and windshield wipers both work fine from teh streering column.

Would really like some help with this one. if a single bulb was blown wouldn't the other three work? the front left signal bulb is fine.

The fact that all four are our makes me think its something close to the steering column.

any help trouble shooting would be appreciated. I have a feeling that I should be able to unplug the driver's side bulb and electrical attachments and stick a multimeter in there somewhere- I don't know where to see if a signal comes through when the steering column arm is pushed down you know. but do need help.

thanks,
cdt

love this forum

never mind, read a very recent post on emergency flashers sometimes being involved and sure enough, one of the guys who replaced the windshield must have messed with the switch 'cause when I put it back in a nuetral position the turn signals work fine.

False alarm of sorts. but man this place is helpful.

thanks,
cdt
