oil filter number

Can anyone tell me which model(s) the factory oil filter number part no. 102 184 05 01 is for? I got this from the dealer and I am pretty sure it is not the right model for my car ('87 300E). Thanks

That is THE dealer replacement number for the 102-184-01-01.

That is a "cheap" made in France filter!!

hmmm......

thanks for the info. I noticed that it was considerably shorter than the Hengst one that it replaced. It fit fine, but I am going to stick with the Hengst/MANN ones from now on.
