89 560 SEC tranny
My tranyy won't kick down when I step on it, also it feels like the car changes gears to get to 3rd alot faster? It drives fine but just feels sluggish on performance??????

Check the kickdown lever, it may be loose. I think it's connected to the throttle linkage behind the fuel distributor, under the air filter.
