Battery removal question for 380SE
I'm a new member here and I tried this question below in the General Information forum but no replies (32 views) so I'll try here ........
I'm trying to help a non-computer friend who lives some distance away so bear with this simple question. He just picked up a mid-80's 380 SE sedan and is having trouble removing the battery. I suggested that it might be held down by a lower clamping system like many cars but he says there is not enough room between the battery and the enclosure to even get an extended socket down in there, nor can he see down into that area everything is so tight. I'm just repeating what he is telling me over the phone, I've never seen what he is looking at. Any worded help or video links would be appreciated, I can't seem to find anything on the web as to how to do this. |
