Question Any 24V alternator I can bolt on to a w126 MBZ?

I am thinking of using a W126 motor for a project. Is there any alternator which generates 24v that I can bolt on to a w126? I can make the brackets if necessary.

Bosch should make something that fits. The bracket and the pulley are more the troublesome part rather than the electrical bits (I think).

Bearing that in mind, it might be easier/faster/cheaper to take a regular w126 alternator to an alternator shop and have them convert it to 24V rather than having to mess with new pulleys & brackets.

Unless stated otherwise, any question I ask is about my greymarket 1985 380SEL.

Nothing special. Just want to use it for an inverter which takes 24V. This is all very up in the air.
