Does the 124 service cd have cooling system

Greetings All,

I just recieved a service manual on cd for my '86 300E 124 chassis and after going through it all it doesn't contain anything on the cooling system. If you have the same cd manual, can you direct me to where it might be hiding or is that located on another cd rom that I'll have to buy?

Thanks, for your input

Hoping to find the cooling system on the repair cd

Greetings,

On my cd rom manual I have engine maintenance but it doesn't include cooling system just mechanical & combustion, LH injection system and cruise control and there is no cooling system items what so ever on the entire cd. Does yours contain the cooling system of the engine, IE the cooling pump?

When you click on "Engine" , Engine Combustion and
Engine Mechanical come up [ along with LH and Cruise.]
Now double click on "Engine - mechanical"
That should bring up "Main Funtion" menu. Then go down to Item #20-"Cooling system"

Main function for cooling not there but PDF files exist.

Greetings Arthur,

I know I am not dreaming but I don't have #20 cooling on my listing under mechanical, but I can go into the PDF files just looking from outside the program onto the cd itself and see that there are numerous 20- PDF files that show cooling assemblies and related repairs. This cd-rom acts like mine did for the 123 chassis, it won't let you load it like it should using IE instead you have to use Netscape Nav for a browser and it doesn't bring up a cooling heading under engine maintenance either. Any ideas where my main menu for it went to?

Sorry to say, Charles-- Not sure where that problem is...

They are there on mine, -- pop up when I click on the blue circle
in front of "Mechanical Manual."

What browser do you use?

Greetings,

Perhaps it is the way it either loads or the browser I am using. What browser are you using to view the cd and what version?

Look under my model and year

Greetings,

Hate to bother you but looking at other engines on this cd they show a cooling system main function but not when I choose my model and year. Can you click on 300E for 1986 and see if yours contains a cooling system under the main funtion group. I found one for the 119 engine but not the 103.
