Ok, I have a 2006 CLK 320 Cabriolet and I love it. I want to convert it to Manual which are not available in America. I really love everything about the car, but I can't stand driving Automatic.
Anyone know what this job would entail and what it would cost to have it professionally done ? Would it void the warranty ? What Transmissions would I be able to use (Would a C-Class Manual Transmission fit ? I also know that in Europe they make manual CLK's [CLK 200, CLK 240, CLK 270, CLK 280, CLK 320 CDI among other models which are all come standard with a 6-Speed Manual transmission]). Would I be able to ship one of these transmissions over here and interchange it ? Thanks |
