s140 air bag passenger dashboard

Need to check contacts at passenger side air bag. Does anyone know how to open dash/bag compartment without damaging it?

If you have a fault in the SRS system, take it to the dealer, pay the money and let the professionals deal with the airbags. They deploy at like 200mph, I wouldn't want my face or arms anywhere near that if a stray static electric charge sets that off.
