1995 E420 A/C - Hot air from side vents

Need help with A/C fix. Car is blowing hot air from the side vents and cold air from center vents. Delear diagnosed with heater valve left open and thereby resulting in hot air on the side.

How hard is to replace the heater valve, where is it located and what is correct part number?

Also, one of the aux fan is not working. The recommended solution was to replace aux fans and relays (part number??). I can replace the aux fans but not aware where the relay are located.

Any help would be appreciated?

Thanks in Advance

The heater valve is a simple replacement. DON'T start that job unless the engine is cold. Located at the right rear of the engine compartment.

IF one of the aux fans is working then the relay is still good..no need to replace a good working part!

I have not started doing the repairs. But, I am thinking of doing it over one of the long weekend holidays.
