Interior lights (when doors open) do not illuminate (problem?)
When I open the doors (no matter which one) on my car, the interior courtesy lights will not illuminate. ALL of the other lights, interior and exterior work fine, its just the courtesy lights that do not work. Trunk lights works, dash lights work, signal lights work, etc.
Is there some sort of switch in the car that may be switched off? I do not yet have an owners manual (one on the way soon), and I have not had time to see what all of these switches do. There is a switch on the dash that looks like 1/2 of a sun.... could that be it? I am going to try them out tomorrow, but thought I would check here first incase it is another issue. Thanks! |

the light may be off, next to the light is a lever, push it all the way forward and see if that turns it on. if it is all the way forward the bulb may be out |

I made the exact same discovery this evening. Pushing the button all the
way forward will have them come on when the doors open. They'll stay on when you leave the car and go out when you lock the doors. I assume they'll go out at some point if you don't lock the doors but I didn't try that.
