AC Push button control unit... disected
I've recently installed an in-dash evap/blower combo in place of the original evap/housing/blower on my w124...
the switch that came with the unit is a simple rotary 3 speed unit. I want to be able to control the AC from the original push button control unit so I decided to open up the control unit itself... It seems simple enough... I can isolate the illumination circuit and disable everything else, I will just use the switches themselves and eliminate the PCB circuitry altogether... the pushbutton units themselves are like this: ![]() there are 6 legs per unit... anyone know which is which? I plan on using the 3 fan speed buttons as speeds 1,2 and 3 and 3 of the main buttons as ON, ECONOMY, and OFF thanks guys

Probably DPDT (double-pull, double-throw).
Take a continuity tester (Ohm meter) and you'll know. |
