The FSM won't open, "component location".
Can't find it in the epc.
I have replaced a relay in the SD.

Your best bet would be to go ahead and remove the sending unit, replace the "O" ring too.
The tank strainer does screw in/out. Use a new "O" ring there too.

As mentioned, the door check strap needs replacement, sometimes the door will not close when broken.
You'll need to remove the inner door panel to gain access, but not the door itself.
