If the lines are forming condensation, the A/C system is working.. thank goodness. It's a vacuum issue with some blend doors or your climate control head causing you not to get any cold air.

Maybe the linkage got moved? Check to see if it is indeed going into reverse and not still in park or neutral.

No SLS either. Few years ago I bought a 91 350SD that I resold.. I feel the same thing.. it's a lot quicker off the line and more torquey than the 3.0.

It wasn't the cost of ownership for me. The overall feel and quality of the car was not the Mercedes I know. They don't build them like the 123, 124, 126 and 140 anymore..
