I tried a 3.6 crank in a .980 once but ran out of deck height with the stock pistons, even with shorter rods. Any other ways of getting a 3.4...

I always thought the 3.4 was stroked not bored....
I always thought the 3.4 was stroked not bored. 350sd/c36 crank, with short m102/m111 rods in the 980 block.
The 91mm bore of the 3.6 is already pushing it, I wouldn't want to go over that....

Sorry for the delay, not been on here for a while.
Yes the 6 speed swap works fine, no issues at all. It needed a custom gearbox crossmember, and I used the gearlever from a BMW in the end.

Guys, I'm in the process of fitting a 6 speed to my m104 kompressor. I'll keep you posted how it works out, but the gearbox, clutch, and flywheel are already bolted up to the engine.:cool:
