If I am not mistaken.. Japan actually has both RHD and LHD cars depending on the part of the country.

I'm pretty sure you're mistaken Snibble. I didn't get to a lot of rural areas when I lived in Tokyo, but I really doubt any of them deviated from the norm (RHD).

I guess I worded it wrong... they have both left and right hand drive cars. I got confused with RHD and driving on the right hand side.

There are a number of LHD specialty/collector cars in Japan just as there are a number of RHD specialty/collector cars in the US... and I don't mean USPS jeeps That 560 was probably a gray market import.
