Non-immigrant Visas into US
Anyone have any experience in this area? I am trying to get a guy here to be trained for a month. His country is not on the Visa Waiver list (obviously). I haven't yet seen his application, but he was denied for lack of assurances he would not remain in the US. The guy has travelled extensively and always returned, and has a family and home, ect.. in his home country. He is employed by the company that wants him to train over here.
My specific question would be, what can the company do to assuage the Embassy's fears? I am throwing this out as a long shot, because I haven't gotten any return on my inquiries to the Consulate and Embassy and want to make a last ditch effort before calling Senators (as this will slow the process even further because the Embassy will be offended going over their heads).
