Max tyre width on 6" wheel?

Fella's,
Please help me out here: what's the widest tyre possible on a 6" wide wheel? Manual says 195, but am curious to know if a wider tyre is also possible.

THANKS!

you could mount a 235 section width tire if it was a 75 aspect ratio.

you need to give more facts or youll get dumb answers like the one i just gave.

(btw 235/75 are typical truck tires!!!)

...forgive my fathomless ignorance
Its concerns a 1990 Nissan 240SX (European badge: 200SX), the aluminium wheel is a 6Jx15 (offset 40), and the standard tyre 195/60 R15

THANKS!
