tire width on 420sel
hello guys
i'm looking at an 18" x 8.0" wheel w/ 23mm offset. could i get a 235/50ZR or a 245/55ZR on this 8.0 wide wheel under my 1988 420sel. currently i haven't put the sport lowering springs on yet but it is in the game plan for this summer. i hear everybody talking about ride quality being lost with those short tires like 35 or 40 side walls so i really don't want to be driving around with my eyes bouncing which might be a reason not to do the spring job. i'm looking for good handling with as much ride comfort as possible. any help would be appreciated. tks craig
