Will these fit a w123?

I just purchased an 83 300d... Love it already. I am having front end work done to make it a daily driver, looks like upper control arms are shot. I will be replacing all four tires once done. I hate the stock rims on there now and would like to know if these will fit? they are 5 x 112 but he seller cannot tell me what type of Benz they came off of.

Not sure on those wheels, looks like they're from a 190e. Might I suggest a set of base model CLK320 wheels. They look excellent on w123's and are apparently forged (ie- LIGHT), and usually can be had for cheap. Glad you're enjoying the car!

Check the back for numbers that say "ET" for einpresstiefe. That'll give you the offset. There are a few wheel/tire threads with links to calculators or you can do the math yourself to see how much the tire sidewall moves in/out. I believe a lower ET number is better for fitment issues on the W123.

The W123 is sensitive to offset for clearance to the steering arm (??) that attaches to the steering knuckle. Take a look at yours with the stock wheels and you'll see what I mean.

If you're putting on all new tires AND having front end work done, check the condition of the LCA bushings. If they're bad, you'll never get your camber right. And if you're going to bigger wheels and the LCAs need replacing, you might want to consider the W126 bushings. According the FSM, they were used in the police versions of the W123 and for the 15" wheels. They're a 3-piece bushing instead of the standard 2 piece.

Those wheels are from a late R129 or W124.

This is interesting information...
I have switched the front brake rotors and calipers from a 1988 420 sel to her 1985 300TD so we are stuck using 15 inch rims from now on with this car. We have the 15" 15 hole flat faced wheel from the same 420 sel that the brakes came from. They have ET215 stamped on the back. When the time comes for new bushings, we would be interested in switching the bushings to the w126 three piece bushing if they are more heavy duty. I wonder if they are a direct bolt in to a w123? Thanks
