Source for used/ rebuilt M119 engine?
 

Looking for a used or rebuilt engine for a 97 W140- any good sources appreciated.

My mechanic has a 1994 E420 (smashed car) with about 60k miles on it I believe. If you are interested I can put you in contact with him.

Take it easy,

Do you need the 4-liter or 5-liter for the W140? You need the correct one to match your injection computer's programming (e.g., 4-liter vs. 5-liter) and type (e.g., LH, CIS, ME).

Be careful, M119's are slightly different for various cars, which can be a PITA with A/C, and P/S.

Post the VIN# of the W140 in question, and we can tell you what engines would work.

Its an S420- Thanks, I meant to include that..

Austin, I will check on the compatibility from 124 to 140 chasis, aren't there some differences that might complicate a drop in?
