Are 2 x 4 jack stands safe for use with small pickup trucks?

Safest No
Doesn't matter how high you jack your car up because the jacking holes are never the safest way to go.. Most of them are ate up with rust in the surrounding area. I always use wheels with tires that are aired up and stack them on top of each other.. If the whole car is up I have 4 stacks... that is the safest way to go if you are jacking off the ground, gravel or floor. Jim
