I believe that the difference between the Euro manifold mentioned, and the manifold on the OM603.971 in the W140 diesel is the bung on the Euro, is drilled and machined for EGR.
If this is correct, then all of the parts you seek are available on the '92-?? W140 diesels (300SD et al). Find one being parted, or order parts for the W140. I do not know if they're NLA or not.

i was under the impression either way that the pipe for the heater core would be in the way because it was designed around the turbos location with the trap ox style manifold? thanks for the reply btw. usually no one bothers when they only see one post on a members account. i creeped here a long time and always wondered that. and to be honest from what i saw it always seemed like the way the mani "bends" down it would be in the way

I parked the '93 300SD in the garage next to the '87 300TD, walked back and forth looking at whether there would be additional parts necessary. I see the oil feed and drain different, two exhaust and one charge-air side parts, a bracket between the exhaust pipe and exhaust manifold. I wouldn't consider this a complete bill of materials necessary to make the swap, but if you compare the two photos in the parts classified you should be able to see the same thing (the one in my post, and the 300D photo above it in a previous post).
Seems that the easiest way to get the improved flow of the Euro manifold is to find a wrecked W140 diesel (or someone parting one). This gives you the additional goodies including a more aggressive turbo, 3.5L IP, a later cylinder head with inclined injection, new style front cover, a downpipe you can scavenge, afterglow timer and temp sensor, bigger alternator, ... worth a lot more than the donor car!

I have one one of these manifolds that I am about to put up for sale...also have a Lorinser bumper brand new that will allow you to tuck in an intercooler ;-)
Interested?
