Dream Benz(es)
 

I'm wondering what everyone's dream Benz or Benzes are. I know what mine would be. What I would really like would be a black on black W123 limo, but with a turbocharged 617 in it, the W123 steel wheels with black hubcaps on them, limo tint on it, and I like the US spec bumpers compared to the Euro spec ones. I don't think they were offered in the U.S., so I guess it would have to be converted to LHD. A poor man's Pullman I guess you could call it.

My other one would be to take a W126 limo, and put either a OM603 from the 300SDL in it, or a OM617 from the 300SD in it. Now, what's everyone else's?

Mine would be a 300SDL with an intercooled 603... or... perhaps a nice 1999 E300 DT... can't afford the latter though.

Dream Benz? S600, but I'd be very happy in an S500. :)

Mt favorite is the Gullwing, then the new 320 diesel in a close second. I will get a used one in 5 years I think, if my wife lets me that is.

The Gullwing would be my dream car...... well, at least my dream Benz.

All around dream car:

W140 S-class coupe with 320CDI (or the 400) turbodiesel engine installed. I'd settle for a S500 Coupe but don't really like the lack of fuel economy of the 500. The power is nice, but for driving around for work and whatnot, I find it kinda pointless to use that much fuel. Why aren't there diesels in the large coupes?! (no market, I know, I know!)

Weekend dream car:

The upcoming SLK55 AMG would probaby be nice. I think I'd rather have a 500E or some W126 560SEC with a RENNTECH upgrade to 6.0. Manual tranny, of course.

Realistic dream car:

1982 240D manual, turbocharger added, english red, yellow tex. Tint it, put some 15's on it, would be a blast!

Mine would be the S430, I dont need to waste as much gas with the same big body right ;)

90/91 350SDL with self levelling rear suspension and a trailer hitch. Don't forget the new factory crate engine!

Diesel Unimog!! -- Offroad toy/ tractor (its got PTO's ;) / any other exuse I can use to get one!

I'll get there someday.... just started out on my car hobby career (I'm 19) so hopefully I can pull this off one day :)
