A 1936 540K cabriolet B would be nice, actually anyting in that style 500K, 540K. Or to be really dreaming how about a W125, probably a bit poor on fuel mileage. However you would get there quickly and in style!!

Black on black SL73 sitting right next to an XJ220. After my diesel I'm going to need something with some guts so an S600 could be next. Thats if the diesel ever dies, I'm thinking in 10 years.

Late Reply, Jumping on the Bandwagon

Dream Benzes....

Ok, here's a delectable alphabet soup:

1. SLK320CDI
2. SL400CDI
3. W124 500E Coupe (oops, not diesel)
4. The 1987 W201 190D 2.5 Turbo was a blast. Great car.

I firmly believe any small sedan with a new, medium sized diesel engine shoehorned into it would be an absolute hoot. Good example: (5.) the AMG C30 CDI! That's a nice machine. A few more of those would be a pretty sight.

6. While it's not Mercedes, I've always thought the idea of a Lotus Elise powered by a VW 1.9l TDI engine was entertaining. Imagine the torque-to-weight ratio, fuel economy, and tall gearing you could employ. You could pull from zero rpms and accelerate like nobody's business. Might be squirrely as the boost builds, but the tall gearing could mitigate that.

Ok, enough. Time to go.

I have fallen in love!!

Oh and a Koensigg CCR

She has a 7.3L MB V12 within, drool. I'd get one all blacked out so I could streak along I-91 at night at triple the speed limit.

Actually they did. I am pretty sure I have seen those doors on a Civic or some such. So what though? I see tons of Hondas with the single wiper, they want to look like MB's. Insted they look stupid.

I think the CCR's are carbon fiber though.

Dream benzes...never thought about this much..let me see...

1) '69 (?) 380SL, I'll take mine with an OM603 and and a 5 speed thank you. Just the nicest looking SL I've ever seen (was for sale near my apartment, I didnt want to ask the price) Maybe the gasser6 would handle better...drats.

2) '93 350SDL - with factory replaced motor and AC junk fixed- My only problem is that I'm not focused enough (focused on saving the money to buy one)

3) '73 450SL with a 6.9 up front - for a car that big to only hold 2 people you NEED some motor to justify its purpose.

4) 190D, 2.5t, 5 speed, for commuting.

5) AM General M35 (oops, not a benz, but a diesel =)

I dont think about dream cars that much, but I think this tells where my lusts lie...

of course

a gullwing. not likely to ever happen. all my rich relatives have kids of their own. and well, most of them are already deceased too.

a 500e with a stick would be ideal. did they make them in europe? also i would like it to have manual windows seats and sunroof. leather. silver with a palimino interior. some of those wheels like dr bones has. air too.

easy,
540K
300SC Roadster (about 50 made)
300SL Gullwing and roadster (trust me you need one of each, they are 2 completely different feeling cars)

Surprized not to hear an SL65 anywhere. Twin turbo AMG V-12 pushing over 800 horse.
