Diesel Fuel Leak

I have a 97 E 300 D (Model 210). My question is how do I access the leak which is in the bypass lines around the injection unit?Could be anything but I can't get to it?

Overhead access is prevented by the cast aluminum crossover tubes. I tried to remove the tube running from the air cleaner to the larger mass of tubes but it won't come off. Took all the bolts out on each side but it won't budge

Any ideas?

With 92k miles and cooler weather its probably a seal
